Pogba is keen to leave Old Trafford this window according to his agent Mino Raiola, and Zidane is now interested to bringing on his compatriot, who is not a popular choice among Real Madrid board members.
The report further noted that Man United will only sanction a deal for Pogba in the neighbourhood of £150m, but with Real Madrid struggling to sell unwanted players, it will be a tough task to raise the funds. At the moment, Bale is not ready to ask for a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu, even as he will accept a cut in his salary demands. In addition, Colombian star James Rodriguez is deemed surplus to requirements, but La Liga giants failed to reach a deal after Napoli’s loan offer. Real Madrid are also finding it tough to get suitors for goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who plays mostly from the bench since Zidane’s return last March.
At the moment, Zidane is still hunting for a creative midfielder, suggesting the French manager has various issues to battle with if he must sign his compatriot- Pogba this window. Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos is close to sealing a loan switch to Premier League giants Arsenal this summer. According to AS report, the 22-year-old is seeking more playing time in the new campaign, after starting 13 times in La Liga last term.
